Nandasiddhi Sayadaw was not a monastic whose renown spread extensively outside the committed communities of Myanmar’s practitioners. He refrained from founding a massive practice hall, releasing major books, or pursuing global celebrity. However, to the individuals who crossed his path, he was a living example of remarkable equanimity —someone
